Contractors Guide to Balance Mix Design (BMD) Benchmarking

This is a practical guide created to help asphalt contractors prepare for the implementation of Balanced Mix Design (BMD) by benchmarking the performance of their current asphalt mixtures. 

Developed through work conducted at the National Center for Asphalt Technology (NCAT) at Auburn University, this project was funded by the Pavement Economics Committee (PEC) with oversight and contributions from the Mixture Quality and Performance (MQAP) Task Force.
