Evaluation of Baghouse Fines

Since the 1970s, dust and fines captured from asphalt mix production facility exhaust systems fines have been successfully reintroduced to asphalt mixtures as mineral fillers. This report provides guidelines on characterization of baghouse fines, evaluation of the stiffening effect of fines on properties of the fines' asphalt matrix, and evaluation of the effect of fines on properties of asphalt pavement mixtures.
